  L-10 MOC

Late last week rare images of a vintage Kane AeroCrafters L-10 Heavy Attack Fighter were uncovered in the estate of what must have been a descendent of the infamous sky pirate "Kid Brooklyn." Few factual accounts of his exploits can be verified, but (...) (21 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !

Re: Crimson Skies - Canadian Flying Police - Ontario Defense Fighter

(...) Thanks, Jason. Good point. I never really considered light and dark grey to be separate colors in a color scheme...only highlights. The primary color scheme is grey, brown and beige with red highlight, since British colors are beige, brown and (...) (21 years ago, 20-Nov-03, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Re: Crimson Skies - Canadian Flying Police - Ontario Defense Fighter

(...) (URL) (...) Trev, Your fighter looks good. I like those rope ties. I'm not sure about the color scheme, 4 might be too much. Are those dark red highlights? I don't have much dark red myself. I like the tail gunner. Which "red uniforms that (...) (21 years ago, 20-Nov-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: B-97 MOC

(...) My guess is that a version came out for the Xbox just recently. But that's just a guess. I expect there'll be a rash of similar rip-offs for the Xbox and PS2 next year... :-) Cheers, (URL) Sci-Fi LEGO> (21 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Re: P-51D Mustang at the Plastic Factory

Thanks Tobbe. I wanted to do foldable landing gear, but they just weren't practical, it's too much stuff to pack into such a thin area, especially considering the requirements of making the wing itself, you need two plates' thickness just to hold (...)   Re: B-97 MOC

(...) Totally superb plane. Who do I have to kill to get one? ;) I take it the front landing gear retracts, but can we see pictures please? I have a question: Is this the same Crimson Skies game that came out about 3 years ago? If so, why is it only (...) (21 years ago, 18-Nov-03, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Re: P-51D Mustang at the Plastic Factory

(...) Very impressive MOC, Dave! And spiffy presentation as well! As far as posting to announce.moc, all you need to do is type in all of the NG to which you wish to follow up in the followups window-- there are no specific options. It is only (...) (...) Mmmm....Mustang! (...) Kamikaze-style :) (...) As Mattias said, it's the best Mustang I've seen! Did you try to make the landing gear foldable? It's the only complaint I have. (...) (...) This is gorgeous Trav...wonderful work. That cockpit construction is a thing of beauty. You've really captured the something old, something new esthetic.   P-51D Mustang at the Plastic Factory

I've finally gotten around to putting up some quality pictures of my P-51 moc. You may have seen the teaser pics about a month ago when I first posted this model, but I don't think they did it justice. Now I have a really good digital camera to work (...) Wow. Lotta guns there. I think he's compensating for something, don't you? :) Nice little fighter. I'm a big fan of pusher/rear-prop designs, and you pulled off the multiple fuselage look perfectly. Take care, Soren (URL) (21 years ago, 15-Nov-03, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)
