I've finally gotten around to putting up some quality pictures of my P-51
moc.  You may have seen the teaser pics about a month ago when I first
posted this model, but I don't think they did it justice.  Now I have a
really good digital camera to work with, and I think you'll like the
results.  Check out the full set of pictures depicting this awesome plane
both on the ground and in flight at my new site:

Mmmm....Mustang!

Expect more stuff to follow, I plan to feature many WWII models on this new
site.  I have a nearly completed A6M2 Zero to get finished and photographed
next.

Kamikaze-style :)

Thanks and let me know what you think!

As Mattias said, it's the best Mustang I've seen!

Did you try to make the landing gear foldable? It's the only complaint I have.

BTW, can anyone explain why I don't seem to be able to post to the
lugnet.announce.moc newsgroup?  When I include it the newsgroups to post to,
I get an error about needing to follow up to another group.  I can't find
any options to choose which group to follow up to.  I'm using Outlook
Express to post.  Thanks in advance.

There should be a "hidden" field that's named "Follow-up" or similar. You should
enter "lugnet.build.military" in there so all follow-ups and up there. This to
avoid making all replies ending up in all groups. I've trimmed the lugnet.build
group from this message for instance. It's not nice "Lugnetique" to post in both
.build and .build.subgroup.

Thanks Tobbe. I wanted to do foldable landing gear, but they just weren't practical, it's too much stuff to pack into such a thin area, especially considering the requirements of making the wing itself, you need two plates' thickness just to hold (...)
