I'm working on a rather ambitious project - a minifig-scale WWII/Korean War bomber (1 stud = 1 foot). It is the Navy's PB4Y-2 "Privateer", which is derived from the B-24. My dad flew Privateers in the Korean War (dropping flares, not bombs). So far (...) (23 years ago, 14-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build)

(...) The stiffness of the model seems OK. I can pick it up by the wings which seems to be the natural way to handle it anyway. I didn't reinforce the side engine intakes because I didn't want to tie everything down while I was still moving (...) (23 years ago, 13-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.military)
