Re: OFW IV "WolfSpyder" and the FCS ESAT "SpyderNest"

This is really wild stuff Tony. The amount of research that went into this project is obvious from the first look at it. The backstory on the suit and the technology behind it (I'm assuming that was gleaned in part from that Popular Mechanics issue (...)   OFW IV "WolfSpyder" and the FCS ESAT "SpyderNest"

The Object Force Warrior v4.0 "WolfSpyder" is a new exosuit I recently created. I also made an .mpd of the suit as well as a high resolution set of instructions ready for you to print and build your own! Website with all images, the .mpd, hi-res (...) In .space, people imagine militaristic futures and build warships; the violence of Star Wars (destruction of Alderaan, anyone?) and WWI (WWI is "a long way away from the horrors of modern warfare?"   Re: MOC: German WWII halftrack and armoured car

I for one support LEGO's policy of not producing modern military themes sets. In fact it kind of makes me uncomfortable seeing WW2 tanks and the like built from Lego. There are not many havens for children from war and conflict in the world of toys, (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Harpy Air Superiority Fighter

(...) Is their a backstory to this? (maybe an earlier post) I would love to know more about it. It must have a really accurate tracking system to hit the Harpy though. ;^) Mark M. (22 years ago, 10-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: MOC: German WWII halftrack and armoured car

Beautiful! Great SNOT work on the half track. The camoflaged version is especially cool. My favorite build detail is the use of the bottom half of a 1x2 hinge on the armored car. I'd never thought to use that element. Bruce (22 years ago, 9-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.military)

MOC: German WWII halftrack and armoured car

Hi all Happy new Lego year to you. I have opened 2003 with some new models of German WWII vehicles. The half-track SdKfz 251 and the armoured car SdKfz 222. I have been experimenting a little with different colours. Nowadays most parts are available (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.loc.se) !!

  Re: Harpy Air Superiority Fighter

(...) Hey Ryan, welcome to the board. You've got a very nice model there. I'm really getting an F/A-22 meets F/A-18 vibe off of it but that's probably intentional on your part. Your use of the slope parts really help to give your model a "blended" (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.military)
