Hi, Matt suggested I post this here as well. I just finished an 82-stud long x 8-wide (of course) waterline model of a WWII submarine, the USS Pampinito, seen at (URL) as the first part of BayLTC's 2003 SF Waterfront project. See the most of Lego (...) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.military)

The organizing committee is attempting to finalize the BricksWest schedule by the end of next week. This is the absolute last chance for you to step forward and volunteer to run a session or two in Carlsbad. To date, we are a bit heavy on trains, (...) Wow. Very nice tank. I'm curious to what "snow camo" looks like. Is it just all white or a mix of white and light gray? I'm really interested in seeing more of your MOCs. Are you sticking with ground vehicles or going to do a mix of air/land/sea? I (...) (22 years ago, 5-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Erik, I can't classify myself as a more expereinced builder, or even a good one, but I really gravitate to the military models and I will say this is an excellent start. I am very interested in seeing your others. About how long did it take you to (...) (22 years ago, 5-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.military)

(...) Hi Erik! Great Model! I've always loved the Afrika Corps color schemes, but finding enough tan is always a challenge. I really like how the light grey, interspersed with the tan (on the barrel, for instance), looks - nice highlighting and use (...) (22 years ago, 5-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.military)

(...) Welcome to the military board, Erik. Pretty Nifty model you have there. I like the use of SNOT building on the frontal armor plate, and the tan parts really do lend themselves to the African Theater of operations. Can't wait to see it on the (...) Hi everyone. I've been hanging around Lugnet for a bit and stumbled in here one day. Of course I was hooked. So here is a small contribution to the community- my first military model. It is the German Marder III Tank Destroyer (Afrika Corps). I also (...) (22 years ago, 4-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.military)

I just came across this special issue of Popular Science today at Wal-Mart. It is called the 21st Century Soldier and is a compendiuum of the US military's weaponry, gear, and technology of the new century. It also shows many future projects and (...) Does anyone have a piece count for a reliable motorbike with sidecar? I'm looking for one that uses the motorcycle element that could be mass produced for future brikwars games in Tek Level 4. I was inspired by Shaun Sullivan's design. Thanks, ~Evan (...) (22 years ago, 9-Nov-02, to lugnet.build.military)
