Re: ISCC entry by Michael Jasper

(...) Wow. I plowed through it in the original German, then babelized it for good measure, and it appears to be a retelling of part of Gulliver's travels, set in a railway millieu. VERY well done. (19 years ago, 18-May-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: USS Enterprise aircraft carrier, version 2.

(...) well, version 1 was waterline and upwards only, link: (URL) and yes, the scale is to small to make microscale planes, they'd need to be somethin like 2 studs long and 1.5 studs wide, which would be just a little bit hard to do. thanks! -mark (19 years ago, 14-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  "odaibacontest3" Japanese group contest

Hi all, Check out (URL) this gallery>. My interpretation is that a Japanese LUG or fest had a contest with the constraint that the creation had to sit on a 16x16 baseplate (if anyone knows details about this I'd love to know more).   Re: USS Enterprise aircraft carrier, version 2.

You really solved some tricky problems in that hull! The shape of the deck is very complex and you managed to capture it. I have never seen the a picture of the Enterprise's hull and keel, so I can't comment on accuracy. But I think I'd prefer a (...)
