Re: USS Enterprise aircraft carrier, version 2.

(...) Actually, I have tried making some other ships, got one done, but wasn't very happy with it. however, the next moc I'm working on will be a cruiser-type thing, which will be the start if my fleet. Need to make a dock also. oh, and that tooth (...) (19 years ago, 14-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Re: USS Enterprise aircraft carrier, version 2.

(...) well, version 1 was waterline and upwards only, link: (URL) and yes, the scale is to small to make microscale planes, they'd need to be somethin like 2 studs long and 1.5 studs wide, which would be just a little bit hard to do. thanks! -mark (19 years ago, 14-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  "odaibacontest3" Japanese group contest

Hi all, Check out (URL) this gallery>. My interpretation is that a Japanese LUG or fest had a contest with the constraint that the creation had to sit on a 16x16 baseplate (if anyone knows details about this I'd love to know more). There is a great (...) (19 years ago, 14-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.loc.jp, FTX)

Re: USS Enterprise aircraft carrier, version 2.

You really solved some tricky problems in that hull! The shape of the deck is very complex and you managed to capture it. I have never seen the a picture of the Enterprise's hull and keel, so I can't comment on accuracy. But I think I'd prefer a (...)   World Trade Center Revisited

This is version 2 of my WTC microfig model that I rebuilt in November 2003. As with all my previous micro skyscraper "rebuilds", the emphasis has been on improving and expanding the levels of details - particularly at street level. This proved to be (...)
