They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and I don’t have time to type that many, so here yah go.

It’s been a little over a year since I posted my first Enterprise, and it had been sitting on my shelf, gathering dust, missing small parts due to cannibalism... So I decided to take it down and redo it.

Changes: Well, the first big, noticable change is that this one has a keel. The first version didn’t. The second change is that the hull is now symetrical, (instead of asymetrical, as v1 was) and flows a lot smoother. I’ve fixed mistakes from the old version, and of course added in some new ones. The deck stayed essentially the same throughout the entire rebuilding process, but the tower is now mostly lightgrey instead of dark grey.

as it did in version one, the hull was so darned hard to get to fit together, but after a few days I came up with what you see here... the simplicity of the hull really understates all the trouble I put into it, and how many times it kept falling apart.

enjoy,

-mark

You really solved some tricky problems in that hull! The shape of the deck is very complex and you managed to capture it. I have never seen the a picture of the Enterprise's hull and keel, so I can't comment on accuracy. But I think I'd prefer a (...)
