Hi all, I'm sure most of you know that the Lego Factory contest ended on Monday and the winners have been announced.   Re: Microfig Eiffel Tower

Gorgeous work, Spencer. And very cool that it's in scale with your other great skyscraper MOCs. As with the others, I'd love to see some detail shots--your construction techniques have always really impressed me. Congratulations on this sweet MOC. (...)   Re: Microfig Eiffel Tower

(...) Spencer- That's one of the best Eiffel Towers I've seeen -- in any scale! I would love to see a picture in higher resolution. (I left the rain/hail/bad weather of California for the bright sunny 31 degree skies of New England last week where (...) (20 years ago, 20-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Microfig Eiffel Tower

hmm, with all the heavy snow outside, I guess boredom has me posting mocs of stuff I've done over the past year. Here's another one: a microfig version of the Eiffel Tower that I built to match the scale of my other microfig skyscrapers... (2 URLs) (...)   Re: Definition of "micro"

(...) Forgive my late reply, but I've been offline for quite a while... "Stickfig" is a term I coined for the scale where a person is depicted by a 1x1 cylinder with a couple of 1x1 round plates on top. It's a "stick figure" representation of a (...)   Re: Update on my 2wide work

SNIPPIFIED Wow, that is one of the most cute things I've ever seen! It perfectly satisfies one of my laments about building big in lego- The lack of available detail in a *limited* amount of space! Microscale is not something that really appeals to (...) (20 years ago, 8-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.microscale)

Re: Update on my 2wide work

Very nice, I hope to see more soon. I'll have more pix up of my stuff soon, now that the LegoFactory contest has entered the final round and I don't have to design any new stuff on LDD. I'll actually try to build some real MOCs now :) Mark (...) (20 years ago, 7-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.microscale)

Re: Update on my 2wide work

(...) Yeah, it looks pretty bleak. I took some street level pics too, but they looked like "ghost town" so I discarded them. I think a few vehicles and some street scenery will help, as the title says, it is only half done. There have been some very (...) (20 years ago, 7-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.microscale)

(...) Now, that's what I cal, nicer micro-stuff! Really neat indeed. I remember seeing your train a while ago and I was waiting for some new stuff from you, but this is better than I expected. Will you add cars? Maybe people? I'd like to see your (...) (20 years ago, 7-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.microscale)

Re: Update on my 2wide work

(...) Oh My Goodness! That's spectacular! Having HO when I was a kid and combining the HO trains and track with LEGO buildings and landscaping was one thing, but this is wonderful! Nicely done! Dave K (20 years ago, 7-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.microscale)

(...) Niiiice! Do I recognize a certain white building w/red roof in this pic: (URL) the microscale equivalent of: (URL) mountain as well, John. Looks like all fits on a standard LUCNY table too!   Re: Update on my 2wide work

(...) There are some train pics here; (URL) the loco shell is seriously hollowed out. That does take practice. Although I got lucky, the second, backup shell is still unmodified.   Re: Update on my 2wide work

I'm not John but.. (...) It's N scale track actually, I think. I'm guessing that perhaps he did not secure it. (...)
