I was looking to create something with a nod towards the insectile
squiddies and farmer robots from the Matrix, but with more of a
Japanese feel. I’m happy with the result, although I think that it
might look cool with legs as well - must try that at some point.

A definite challange, will you continue to develope the idea?
I think its cool.Building a Squidde like thing
would be pretty darn cool. I’ve talked with other builders about that.

| (...) I'm not sure I want to build a scale model of a squiddie, although it'd be an interesting challenge. You could probably do quite a decent mini- squiddie, using the classic space hoses as tentacles, but you'd want to pose it in attack mode (...) (21 years ago, 31-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
