I love the articulation of this guy-- and the joints not only show the
typical master touch on the inside, but display an intuitive ability to use
the new compound wedges in exciting and clever ways. The shapes flow like
water... Dang! Its sweet!
|
Thank you, I like to begin and end shapes using slopes. Your work of late was
also a mark to shoot for. Congrats on the Induction of Neko 2 to the LMHoF.
|
Thanks, Eric for posting the detail pix of the joint tech-- its really
inspiring stuff. Ive got to get my head out of the 18-inch mode and do
something like this!
|
Hey, now I got to measure the Macro Bot just out of curiosity. Plus Ill take
pics of the exploded joint views.
|
Sad to hear that the fly-bot (one of my faves) has bitten the dust, but Im
never one to get sentimental over past creations.
|
Thanks but the Fly-Bot was strange, I mean I liked things about it and yet it
had to go. I ussually keep my stuff, but I saw ideas to make it better. Infact
after I re-shoot RG Mech tonight, I may give some serious thought into making it
twice as big with a complete over haul. The Fly-Bot parts may help in that
project. RG Mech Poster Art comming soon!

BTW, Im not gonna make 7 of these in different colors!
|
|
Heh, maybe two or three, but thats it!
Thanks, Ill get that white point yet! I stuggle with the blue grey walls in my
studio space. I borrowed some lighting from my DJ friend that helps.
