Biomechanical Bricks

BTW, I’m not gonna make 7 of these in different colors!

I am very impressed Master Sophie-wan. The force is strong within you.

I am floored at how posable he is at this size, but I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised, you are the Master after all ;)

I’m sure it took a lot of effort to get him to balance in all those different poses, but it sure doesn’t look like it. You sure make this whole Mech thing look effortless.

I only have two little bits of criticism about your new bot.

One, the control sticks seem to be kind of out of place. That is, they seem to long and thin, and don’t really add to the smooth look of the bot. The ankle controls in particular stand out to me. This is, of course, just my opinion.

Secondly, I must say I really like your shoulder and hip designs. It’s something I haven’t seen before, but then again I’m new at the whole Mech thing so maybe it’s an old design. However, while it is really neat, and I’m sure works very well, visually it looks a bit odd, with the upper regions of the arms and legs being only one brick thick. I fully understand why you have it this way, and honestly I’m not sure how it would be changed, so... I suppose just forget about this part :)

Excellent work.

I’m glad I can understand what all his joints do, unlike Jama ;) I guess with better understanding of this whole genre comes greater appreciation of what goes into building these things.

After I created the (URL) Little Bot Series> I always wanted to create the next generation Mecha that was more flexible and poseable than my previous creations. I spent Only Two Days building it.
