Re: New Mech: Lenze —Greg Oxsen
(...) what im gonna do! ;) Legs: like the white armor plates, really blends well with the rest of it. The ankle guard is very slick, love the daring angles you always take on your mechs. I think your knees dont qualify in the FSS craziness! Have (...) (22 years ago, 15-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mech: Lenze —Tony Knaak
(...) The white was born more out of necesssity at virst, but the colors did look good together! The ankles were the first things to be made, so they see to have more time put into the design. The knees? I can see how the FSS mechs have those huge (...) (22 years ago, 15-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mech: Lenze —Greg Oxsen
(...) I dont necessarily have a beef with the thighs, since they do have the hip armor is covering most of em anyways. (...) Yeah exactly that part.      All right! Very cool FSS-type mecha. You've captured the look and feel perfectly. Mamoru Nagano is gonna come after you for this. Which is a good thing IMHO,- Okay, here comes the critique. Please don't kill the poor newbie for his pathetic attempt (...) (22 years ago, 15-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mech: Lenze —Tony Knaak
(...) :D (...) Hey all's fair, I gave you a pretty had one! :D (...) I have trouble with that as well, and I sorta ashamed to admit that I ran out of 2x3 slopes to finish the shoulder armor. I found this solution with half blue instead of ordering (...) (22 years ago, 15-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mech: Lenze —James Harkness
(...) well as your mecha but I think you have reached another level with this mecha. You have officially reached the level of the LRPer's in my book. I really like it. It's sleek, simple, yet dynamic. Just not a fan of the mohawk not that there is (...) (22 years ago, 15-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mech: Lenze —Tony Knaak
(...) AnIThangQ I am always trying to better my building first by coping others, I do that alot, and second, I try to build non-traditionally. Brick on brick is fine, but to really get interesting shapes, SNOT is the way to go! So you say no mohawk (...) (22 years ago, 15-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mech: Lenze —Jeff Ranjo
(...) Looks great! I think that this is one of your best yet! I especially love the pushed thick and thin of your design. The head is awesome and personally I like the snot fin. My only crit is that you could possibly lengthen the calf section by (...) (22 years ago, 15-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mech: Lenze —Tony Knaak
(...) I am glad that you liek the design and you get that I was going for the thick/thin look, few did even after I said it the first post! Ya, the lower legs and calfs were the first things to built since they are such iconics of the FSS universe. (...) (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mech: Lenze —Mark Neumann
Hey Tony, Great stuff. What sprung to mind for me was Greek warrior. Especially with the thing on the head. Made me think of the ancient warriors that had the big plumes on the helmets. Plus with the lines, I tend to pull out the "Greek ideal" out (...) (22 years ago, 15-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mech: Lenze —Jason Coronado
dude, i've been trying to make a mecha similar to those proportions right now: wasp waist, big shoulders, big calves and slim shins, and, of course, the elongated foot. it's like you read my mind and then built your mecha. not fair!!! mine looks (...)          Re: New Mech: Lenze —Tony Knaak
(...) Hey Hey Hey! never feel intimidate! My mechs suck compared to alot of other guys stuff! I just build and post because it fun! Now I want to see you mech, I like to see how two people approach the same problem in different ways, it facinates (...) (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mech: Lenze —Jason Coronado
sorry, big guy, but i scrapped the project. it's not because i got discouraged after seeing your mecha, but rather, i got as far as the lower leg and it just turned out crappy. nonetheless, i thought i'd delve a little into the "chicken walker" (...)         Re: New Mech: Lenze —Geordan Hankinson
This is awesome! There are so many things here that are out of the ordinary, and I like that alot. The arms and legs are beautiful! smooth, angular, and the color balance in each is near perfect. The shoulders are very nice as well, but I think the (...)      Geordan, Dude I feel like a jerk, I didn't see this OR Eric's post, sorry for the delay! First, thanks for the compliments! I worked hard to get it nice and smooth, I tried to make sure that all the parts were angular, NO rounds pats at all! The (...) (22 years ago, 25-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mech: Lenze —Tony Knaak
Like I said with Geirdan's rely, sorry I didn't answer sooner, I just missed these posts :( The back of the leg is probably my favorite part:D That may sound stupid, but I think it looks REALLY FSS-ish.
