I am in the position of knowing virtually nothing about Anime or any of the
plethora of Japanese cartoons that inspire the Lego Mecha genre. It is yet
to be determined if this is an advantage or a disadvantage.

Thanks. They're my favourite bit too. I've had them sitting around for
months. I'll more than likely use them again.

The torso shape sort of grew out of the canopy and the substructure. I sort
of designed it as I went. My original sketches had a head, but once the
torso was built I decided it wasn't necessary. Like I said to Eric, I still
might beef up the shoulders a bit to balance it out a bit.

Yes indeedy. I didn't know it was called that, but if the shoe fits...

Yep. Compare this pic http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=316910

It's a little hard to tell from my apalling photos, but it can actually get
into a fair ol' squat. In fact, I used your Pork Grind as a benchmark in
poseability. Love that little mech.
