    stiff balls —Allister McLaren
   Hi, I'm just stepping over from my regular haunt at .space to ask a small question of you mecha gurus. Has anyone figured out a way to stiffen up ball joints?       (...) I did try a layer of superglue (all I had to hand) and it seemed to work a little, but I suspect with another coat or two it might work. Nail polish sounds like a good idea.    i found an idea posted by someone (i can't remember who) who mentioned that if you cut a small piece (about a centimeter) of a small rubber hose (like the pneumatic tubing only smaller) and place it in the socket, it increases friction substantially (...)
