Hi,

I'm just stepping over from my regular haunt at .space to ask a small
question of you mecha gurus.

Has anyone figured out a way to stiffen up ball joints? Would roughening
them up with a bit of sandpaper work do you think. Less destructive
solutions are also welcome.

Thanks,
Allister

i found an idea posted by someone (i can't remember who) who mentioned that if you cut a small piece (about a centimeter) of a small rubber hose (like the pneumatic tubing only smaller) and place it in the socket, it increases friction substantially (...)
