thanks, no stud's looks somewhat plain at times, but it let's you explore
shapes more, rather than just loading everything with greeblies, plus I
think if mecha were implemented in real life military use, they would have
smooth armour sorta like on the abrams to aid in deflecting anti armour guns
etc.

  I love the
feet and legs, and the hands are interesting, blending the tried and true
minifig legs and that nifty little round thumb.  Looks to be a bit backheavy
tho.  Does it have trouble standing up?

not at all, the only time it has a hard time is when it has the jetpack
hooked up to the back, or the large rifle in hand. other than that it stands
quite nicely
