New Mecha and LDraw Files —Mladen Pejic
First off, I built a new mecha. Basically, I just wanted to add as much weaponry on it as I could. The bazooka is my personal favourite. ;-) It also comes with a zero-g pack, radome, and smoke discharger system. Naturally, I was inspired heavily by (...)      (...) were twisted out a bit, such that the feet aren't pointing in the same direction. Your other more recent mecha also have this feature, but for some reason, it's very noticable on this mecha. It gives it a more natural pose. Seems like brute is (...)          Re: New Mecha and LDraw Files —Mladen Pejic
(...) Thanks Chris! Good observation, you are right about this mecha looking more natural. My previous mecha ('cept Joker) have had really crappy stances, I wanna change that. On a similar note, articulation is one of those obstacles I have yet to (...) (22 years ago, 13-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha and LDraw Files —Luke Ma
Wow. Another great mech, as always! The widening contours of the legs really adds to the name of the mecha...that and shoulders combine to form a really hefty and stable looking mecha. Great accessories too! I'll have to go with your choice of the (...) (22 years ago, 13-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha and LDraw Files —Mladen Pejic
(...) Thanks a bunch! (...) Yeah, I tried to go for the bulky, VOTOMS-ish look. (...) Heh, I put more time into the bazooka and zero-g pack. As for the "vortex-looking" things, they are shaped charge rifle grenades. They are launched by a bullet (...) (22 years ago, 13-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha and LDraw Files —Tim Rice
Ay-yi-yi! Me like! Very cool Mecha Mladen. I'd have to say one of your best yet. I like the varide assortment of weapons and devices the thing can carrie as well as the fact that it carries spare ammo. IWhenever I see a handheld weaons and there (...)      About the New Mecha, nice color Scheme, oh man great feet! excellent pilot control area! dang, one thing I'm always drawn to your Mecha is the feet, every time you set out to make something the feet are always very original, youda man.      (...) Thanks Eric, thanks man. (...) Heh, well I dunno about original, but whatever you say! ;-) (...) LOL! Discography... :-D (...)      (...) Ha! Ya Is that evan a real word!!! (...) Thanks, so I didn't build another 3 footer, instead I made 7 Little ones! 7 Little Bots dedicated to the 7 Founders of the Lego Mecha Hall of Fame.         Re: New Mecha and LDraw Files —Sun Yun
I really like the legs on this new mech of yours. There's lots of interesting shapes converging and there's a great heft to the proportions. I really like the accessories shot as well. MMMMM . . . accessories. By the way, you might want to virus (...) (22 years ago, 14-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha and LDraw Files —Mladen Pejic
(...) Thanks Sun! I look forward to seeing new stuff from you too. (...) Yeah, 'fraid it's the latter. I just searched my computer with HouseCall ((URL) and it's clean. So, I guess the virus is "spoofing" me as the sender. Mladen Pejic, over and (...) (22 years ago, 14-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha and LDraw Files —Bryce McGlone
Mladen, I really like this one. Love the legs, very Gundam. And I can see that you're back to one of your favorite color schemes! And you're right, that Bazooka rocks! Another great "real world" model from you. Later, Bryce (...) (22 years ago, 16-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha and LDraw Files —Mladen Pejic
(...) Thanks Bryce! Halfway though contruction, I realized just how much I was making it look like Big Blue. That mecha of yours has always been my favourite, and I hope one day I'll be able to build on that scale. As for the realism is in my (...) (22 years ago, 16-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha and LDraw Files —Mladen Pejic
(...) Heh, thanks Geordan! (...) Yeah, I just experimented with the slopes and wedges until I got a nice combo. ;-) (...) I proportioned each body part according to the anime mecha style. It turned out good, thankfully. (...) Hehe, ya know the last (...) (22 years ago, 18-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
