Heh, I put more time into the bazooka and zero-g pack.
As for the "vortex-looking" things, they are shaped charge rifle grenades. They
are launched by a bullet (although real-lie ones are usually launched by
blanks), and fly through the air using small fins for stabilization. Once they
hit the target, a jet of molten metal punctures the enemy armour.
