Thanks. :)

What idealism is that? That Lego shouldn't make mecha? I think they should
but I don't think they could do it justice. But hey, more parts fodder
wouldn't hurt; the joints on the super battle droid are pretty cool. I just
wish they were a little tougher. Has anyone ever played with the mega blocks
racheted joints? My cousin had some and I was very impressed by the
strength of the joint. Too bad I'm a snotty Lego lover and wouldn't buy
Mega Blocks. . . . unless they brought up there QC about 10 notches.

This is very true.

True again. I've inadvertently added a lot of new users to bricklink because
I have instructions available now. It's good to see people pulling out
their old bricks again and building. I'm already impressed by the speed at
which the young builders here at .build are developing their own techniques
and skills and it'll be great to get a influx of even more people.

It seems a lot of kids approach Lego as a "static model" where you build it
once and you are done. I've been to a lot of households where this is the
case. That is sad.

I remember buying one of those megablocks mecha; first of all, the darn thing wouldn't stay together; an arm kept falling off, or some leg part, etc. The joints had three positions between zero and 90 degrees; they (...)
