Well here it is. My second attempt at a mech. Funny thing is they're just
not getting any bigger :). I'm pleased with this one and I feel it came out
ok. After I built it, I noticed it sort of had a ED-209(from Robocop) look
to it.

So now I am pleased to introduce the

Standard Infantry Support Mech (S.I.S.M.) SM-388

follow the SM-388 update link

As always I would like to know what you guys think and hear any comments on
it or how it could be made better.

Jamie

(...) Looks good! I like the use of the new canopy and Racers element. Question: Can you show us the positionality of the legs? What's the range of movement? I ask because the Ogel Sub arm-to-2x2-plate connection is, of course, limited to one plane (...) (23 years ago, 17-Apr-02, to lugnet.space)

Wow! nice use of new parts! I am sick and tired of reading about people complaining about all the new 'weird' parts. You did wonders with some of the weirder ones. Those Alpha Team arm thingies are cool, and you found a good use for them. Also the (...) (23 years ago, 17-Apr-02, to lugnet.space)

Normally I'm not much of a mech connoiseur, but this is a really nice design....very efficient and compact. As others have said, a great and innovative use of new parts. Good stuff. Cheers, -G (...) (23 years ago, 17-Apr-02, to lugnet.space)

(...) I really like this mech-it has a neat look about it. Its form also follows it function...I can see one of these things roaming with a team watching out for threats. Good job, and with only a few parts! Joe Meno (23 years ago, 18-Apr-02, to lugnet.space)

You told me you were making a mech but I didn't know it would be so damn cute. The Jedi Starfighter canopy is really my new favorite canopy. However, it's difficult to seal off the angled sides of it on a MOC and still have the MOC be small. You've (...) (23 years ago, 19-Apr-02, to lugnet.space)

(...) The mech is a good, solid design, but I love the other stuff on your page!!! The Spiff Motor Home is absolutely classic, and the Kodiak is one of the best Space ground vehicles I've ever seen! You do an excellent job both with the overall (...) (23 years ago, 19-Apr-02, to lugnet.space)
