Re: THE FOUNDRY . . . —Christopher Snead
(...) Wow! I really like your site! Aside from your wonderful models, the layout of your website is very appealing. As for the models, I've always been impressed by your Zaku models, and the Zaku factory gives them a very nice backdrop. I also like (...) (22 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: THE FOUNDRY . . . —Geordan Hankinson
(...) Yah! I love your site design, it is so clean and fresh... (...) Your two new creations rules, wow, the escala is awesome. Nice and thin. Are the beam sabers LEGO? I don't recognize them. I love the custom gundam, awesome. There is so much (...) (22 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: THE FOUNDRY . . . —Sun Yun
(...) The beam sabers are from the large deluxe transforming Gundam toys. It's fits pretty nice into a Lego piece surprisingly enough. The escala was kind of a test model. I'm working on a huge epic story type project which kind of combines old (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: THE FOUNDRY . . . —Stuart Immonen
Sun: WOW! After just a cursory glance, it was evidnet that the Foundry is the most stylin' of lego sites, with models to match! Simply stated, the clean design and professional MOCs make for a killer combo-- I'm envious, jealous, and inspired! I (...) (22 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: THE FOUNDRY . . . —Adrian Drake
(...) This is an extremely well designed web page! How do you get your pictures so that there's nothing in the background? I'm still trying to get cleaner backgrounds on my images, but it's a difficult process. Adrian -- www.brickfrenzy.com (22 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: THE FOUNDRY . . . —Sun Yun
(...) It's funny you ask. If you go into the articles section there is one of photo tips. You'll find all the answers you need there. One correction though, the matte I refer to is called seamless. I don't know why I keep on calling it matte. . . . (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: THE FOUNDRY . . . —Kyle Keppler
We're not worthy! Or at least I'm not. :-) Anyways, I have a question. For all your pics, did you have to manually mask out the background with photoshop or is the white background allready a perfect white? I have tried, but my white backgrounds (...)          Re: THE FOUNDRY . . . —Sun Yun
(...) I use a very large sheet of white paper in the back. (URL)I have tried, but my white backgrounds allways turn out (...) I'm surprised by the severity of the color problem on that picture. Judging from your picture you have a pretty good camera (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: THE FOUNDRY . . . —Brian Kasprzyk
(...) Nice site layout! Very clean and crisp. I am not a mecha builder, I'm a castle head. I were looking for others to see your site. I liked your ideas of articles. Nice one on picture taking tips! I use a 4x3 3/8" sheet of pine for my backdrop. (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: THE FOUNDRY . . . —Sun Yun
(...) absolutely gigantic! My camera can do 1600 but I take my pictures at 1024. I like to take pictures at one level above what I'll actually use. If my final pictures are gonna be 640 then I take my pictures at 1024. This is a good way of handling (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

        Re: THE FOUNDRY . . . —John R. Beck
Sun, I want a VF-15 Valkyrie. Or at least the instructions. When I went to your shop on brickbay, it wasn't there. I really want to build one myself. How do I get the instructions? John (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: THE FOUNDRY . . . —Sun Yun
(...) Sorry about that. The instructions are still under developement. The big problem is I'm a perfectionist and I want the instructions for this model to be flawless. Making instructions for this has gone from a good effort into an all out, full (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

"Impressive! Most Impressive." (...) OK, lets see what you have... Huh! Wow! This is one nice introduction page. Now lets see the page itself, hmm... Hey not too shaby, nice colors.         Re: THE FOUNDRY . . . —Brian Cooper
(...) This is a very professional site. I like the lanky quality of your mecha, sort of stylized like they leapt right out of an anime cell. They make super cool sets. You should be able to sell a bunch of these. P.S. Technically you can't sell a (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: THE FOUNDRY . . . —Sun Yun
(...) You are very correct. I cannot label a toy "valkyrie" or "Zaku" if they are trademarked or copyrighted. But in this case they are not. If you go to the US Patent and Trademark Office and do a search you will note that "Zaku" is nowhere to be (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: THE FOUNDRY . . . —Mark Neumann
As I posted in another message, I think 2002 is going to be a good year for Mecha. Very nice site. Thank you for the photo tips. I've been experimenting and trying to learn, not doing so great... Anyway, this will help, thanks! A couple of things: (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: THE FOUNDRY . . . —Sun Yun
