  GG Mech update
 
Gents, the little place where I store my temp. pix is drying up. So I thought I'd post the pix to BS. (...) I could imagine GG on the cover of OMNI (they still publish that magazine?). Those ankle joints look great but can they withstand the torque? The torso looks hefty, the hips and legs might double that. I don't think you've made anything this (...) (23 years ago, 13-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

True. I do have one of those robo rider worm gear boxes in the ankle though. (URL) shocks only take up a little of the slack, I figure if the weight starts to prove beyond the ability of the joint I'll add another set of shocks at another angle or (...) (...) Be cautios! That foot looks very small for the mech you have. The problem with 2+ footers (out of personal experience) is that you can not afford for them to fall.
