I kinda Like the transition. after i read the backstory, I imagined the
original animal as a kind of giant centipede. part of that "cyber"
technology attaching the thing to that big stomping frame. the jaw would be
that of the original creature but it's skull (if it has one) has been fused
to the cybernetics, which is one of the reasons it's so violent, it doesn't
like it's new condition. that would also explain the sudden transition, it's
just kind of bolted there.
...or not, but that's what I imagined.
