Announcing: The Mecha Factory —David Thomas Jr.
Hi all! It's been quite a while since I've had anything new to contribute. Well, I have been building, but I'm certainly not as industrious as some of you. One project that I was working on I decided to scrap. I love Gundam mecha, and I had it in my (...) (23 years ago, 19-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha) !

Dave these Mechs are amazing! I must say I was'nt familair with your work untill the Mecha Hall of Fame appeared on Brickshelf. David I really like your Mecha and your style of building, this pix in particular is awesome: (URL) is cool to me not (...) (23 years ago, 19-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Announcing: The Mecha Factory —Adrian Drake
That's some really fine work, David. The presentation of the site's quite nice too. I don't really like the images opening up in a separate window, but that's a personal preference on my part. Otherwise, fabulous mecha! Adrian -- www.brickfrenzy.com (...) (23 years ago, 19-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Announcing: The Mecha Factory —Kyle Keppler
Holly kookamundo! Very, very, very nice models. That new one is just amazing! Is it supposed to to be microfig scale? Some of the equipment around it looks like it... The diarama and site rock too! It's nice to see some of your older stuff again too (...) (23 years ago, 19-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Announcing: The Mecha Factory —Mladen Pejic
WOW! Simply amazing Dave. The "Warhammer" redefines micro-fig bipedal mecha. It's so beautiful; excellent work! I love the new mecha site. The stylized images remind of the comic-book story boards seen in Max Payne (PC game). Very, very cool... (...) (23 years ago, 19-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Every mecha builder has sort of a different style; yours definitely resonates with me! I love the detail on your mecha, and the way (...) (23 years ago, 19-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Announcing: The Mecha Factory —Dave Johann
(...) David, this is a fantastic looking site! I love the design. It doesn't surprise me that Sun would let you use the name, he's a stand-up kinda' guy! Like Eric, I wasn't terribly familiar with your building style until I saw it at the Mecha Hall (...) (23 years ago, 19-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Announcing: The Mecha Factory —Dave Johann
I forgot to mention just how much I love the way you detailed everthing to look like it's in nanofig scale. The 'stairway' and passageway to the right of the mecha do so much to reinforce the scale that you work at. Fantastic! -Dave (23 years ago, 19-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Announcing: The Mecha Factory —Travis Dickinson
That Warhammer rocks. The presentation of it is well done. The web site also looks good. Travis Dickinson (URL) Thomas Jr." wrote: (cut) (...) (23 years ago, 20-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Wow Dave! It's really nice to see you back in action! You have been so quiet lately I thought you left Lugnet. That is a killer page. I love the filters you used on the wallpapers. The actual interior of the Mecha Factory is fantastic! I wish (...) (23 years ago, 20-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Announcing: The Mecha Factory —David Thomas Jr.
Thanks Joel, I've thought about doing some more diaramas, but I would have to tear down the one I have now and I'm not sure I want to do that. Another problem is I'd have to use some small model kit figures if I want to add people to the scenes, (...) (23 years ago, 21-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
