Hey all,

I have just put some finishing touches on this site, and I feel that it is
ready for prime-time.

It is my pleasure to announce my Stickfig-scale mecha wallpaper:
http://www.io.com/~jsproat/lego/microfig/stickfig/index.shtml

Available for your perusal are three wallpaper-sized images depicting some
of my new microfig-scale MOCs, with MPD and POV source.  The three scenes
available represent my gradual cresting of the intimidating POVRay learning
curve, so expect more from me in the near future!  :-,

(And for those who have taken a look at the sneak peek, I have a new
wallpaper and a new model as of today.)

So please, look, enjoy, maybe even pick up a new technique or two, and as
always LMK

Cheers,
- jsproat

Hi Jeremy, I'm glad you posted this to .announce, or I would have missed it! I just spent about 45 minutes tearing through my parts bins to build a "A91 Heavy Tactical Suit, Kasperic Custom", or as close as I could get to it. I was able to get (...) Great work Sproat! I'm really impressed with the design of some of these models. I am also impressed with the quality of the rendering. Did you use l3p for this? Those parts look better than the ones l3p outputs. One other comment, 1600x1200!! I (...) (24 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Outstanding, Jeremy. As usual, I am inspired by your Microfig creations. I really liked the helicopter and the nice renderings. Ashley Glennon In lugnet.announce, Jeremy H. Sproat writes...>always LMK (...) (24 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

WOW! Those are fabulous, especially considering the constraints imposed by their small size. The A44 and A66 are my favorite and the A93 reminds me of the Tead from Mospeada (Called the Beta in Robotech, The new Generation). Boy, creating models (...) (...) That's some awesome work, Mr. Sproat. :) I don't suppose it would be possible to make some sort of an 'exploded' view of your attack copters? For those of us not using modeling programs... :) I think I understand most of what you did but there (...) (24 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

I'm getting a 404 on (URL) as long as I'm on this thread, great work. Not just on the scene composition, which is superb, but also on the creations themselves. I quite like the legs on the A66. Also, the hands on the A93 are great. Very powerful (...) (24 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)
