I would have agreed with this, if it weren't for Bionicles.
These aren't pacifist machines. They look like the result of some
marketing study that concluded "kids like fighting robots".
There are other new products in their line up with the same concept.

It doesn't take a lot of standard StarWars derived parts to make a quality
small mech, just a good feel for the genre, an eye for design.

| (...) I agree with you. I think LEGO is rationalizing it by calling their weapons "tools" which they apparently use to help them get around their native lands... or something. Whatever. We all know they're fighting robot things, so why not bite the (...) (24 years ago, 19-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
