I think you're being a little overly paranoid. There are only so many ways to
model a human-like hip given the parts selection in LEGO- and since they Life
on Mars mech uses click-hinges, where Colin's hip uses Technic parts, I'd go so
far as to say that it's entirely possible that the designer never even saw
Colin's hip design, let alone consciously ripped it off.

| Hmm...looking at the pictures on FBTB, I was checking out the mecha for the new Mars theme(Marsbase, you'll note was here a looong time before. 8) ).
