New ship, Dragon.

I did a detailed write up on MOC pages. Here’s the short story:

Dragon is designed in mind with mecha based special forces units. This ship is a smallish (roughly Yacht sized) and equiped to penetrate defenses unseen and punch a hole to escape if seen. Dragon has a sizable cargo hold with a secondary fighter drone bay. Crewing is minimal (6) with the bulk of passengers being the special forces unit and their support. The bay is awfly dark in the aft portion so I added what LEGO based lighting I had. (two single lights and one double light) The battery box/switch is accessable through a removable panel directly aft the dorsal turret. Enjoy the MOC.

Hi Mark, Awesome ship you've built there! Love the size, shape and colour scheme, great details (almost too many!). Love the internal Mechbay shots, and the weapons systems. I like the way you've used those Hailfire droid wheels, do they function (...) (19 years ago, 23-Mar-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Hello Mark, belive it or not, this morning while driving to work I thought: Should be time for Mark to come up with a new MOC. And now this! It's so awesome. I like especially the angled side parts. Are they engines? They look so great. Jas (...) (19 years ago, 23-Mar-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) This reminds me of a girl I knew in El Segundo...long neck, big rack, and a fully loaded cargo bay. She breathed fire too. Maybe you should have called it the "Lisa". I'd shower kudos on all the specifics of this outstanding SHIP, but I'll (...) (19 years ago, 23-Mar-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Very cool. I can't understand why this hasn't made the moc highlight yet. WAKE UP CURATORS! Some might describe it as Classic Space meets Bonktron, but I won't sully such a fine ship with comparisons to poorly conceived themes like that. ;) I (...) (...) That is awesome. I love those missle pods. The bottom one works as a convenient support too. :-) The whole thing is just full of things to examine and stare at. Very nice. -Mike Petrucelli (19 years ago, 24-Mar-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Hopefully this message will go through... Otherwise, damn LUGNET's authentication system to hell! >:-( Mark, this is one of the coolest ships I've seen in a while! I love how everything is vintage Neumann... i.e. chunky and aggressive! The (...) (19 years ago, 28-Mar-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)
