Thanks to Stephen King’s Dark Tower series, I got it in my mind to build a
post-apocalyptic theme that was basically dioramas of wrecked, destroyed, or
nonfunctioning equipment, as is found frequently in the book series.
I dubbed the theme Dust to Dust, to represent nature taking back the machines
of war.
The first creation in this theme is called Forest Sentinel.

Hi Adrian, fantastic idea. This is one of the dioramas I would love to
build one day. The details are great. I do agree with Anders
that as hard as it is to emulate dirt and rust with Lego a few well placed
orange, red, and brown parts, close to the water specially, would make this
an even more realistic MOC. Regardless, if this were an old anime scene
you would be pretty spot on.
