Re: Disparaging remaks and charges of being elitist

(...) Sucky attitude none the less. (...) Fair enough, I respect what you say. e (19 years ago, 7-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Disparaging remaks and charges of being elitist

(...) To put it into context "Of course, it would be more fun if there was whining and accusations of corruption and contest rigging..." was the comment it was responding to. Hardly conspiracy and premeditation. Tim PS. For what it's worth I'm not (...) (19 years ago, 7-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Disparaging remaks and charges of being elitist

(...) God forbid you point out how stupid it is in return. God forbid a thousand things Allister. (...) For what? I enjoy my solitude away from the negativity. At least here on LUGNET I can (hopefully) expect a level of decency. My last post on jlug (...) (19 years ago, 7-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Disparaging remaks and charges of being elitist

(...) Good. I know you have bigger balls than that. Too bad we never met in person, we may have got along famously, instead of notoriously. Our loss. e (19 years ago, 7-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Disparaging remaks and charges of being elitist

(...) God forbid that 'e' should reply to the post in the forum where it was posted instead of whining about it here. Your (URL) account> is still active, 'e', be a man and use it. (19 years ago, 7-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Disparaging remaks and charges of being elitist

(...) Fair enough statement. I still think it is a load of bull. All this conspiracy all of this premeditation. Really offensive. Utter bull. e P.S. you know as well as I do, it is not just one member. How about pointing out the duality of both (...) (19 years ago, 7-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Disparaging remaks and charges of being elitist

(...) Well, I didn't write that, but I still feel lucky that I've never met you in person. (19 years ago, 7-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Disparaging remaks and charges of being elitist

(...) --SNIP-- Perhaps you should consider not tarring an entire online community with one brush just because one member of that community says something you don't like. You have also quoted that person out of context which is somewhat rude. JLUG (...) (19 years ago, 7-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Disparaging remaks and charges of being elitist

I was forwarded this little gem from the mean spirited people that frequent jlug. This is far from the first time postings with my name have been brought to my attention. Even newbies have contacted me expressing disgust with the nature of the hate (...) (19 years ago, 7-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha) !!

  Re: Iron Mecha Entry

(...) It was supposed to be a crane, but I just ran out of time. A crane would have taken some R&D while I knew I could fake a gun together fairly quickly. (...) Again they're supposed to look like those CAT tractors and stuff. (...) The rear (...) (19 years ago, 4-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Iron Mecha Entry: The "Angel" Mechs (Garret, Munroe, and Duncan)

(...) If I had more than three of (URL) these>, then maybe I'd have a few more Angels. By the way, some simple research shows that the other three would be the Munroe II, Rogers, and Welles (not Hack...though I admit that Hack would be a better name (...)   Not an Iron Mecha: The Prelude

Well I liked the idea, but I didn't want to enter the contest, so even though I finished this a while back, I held off posting until the judges were already out. (2 URLs) Click here> or on the pic. Enjoy! (19 years ago, 3-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !

  Re: New Mecha: The Fang

(...) A friend of mine saw it while I was working on it and said he thought it should be beefy. Had to make it fairly light though. hmmm... Maybe I'll revisit the torso later on this one. (...) Thanks, I try to make them as posable as possible and (...) (19 years ago, 2-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

In lugnet.build.mecha, Jon Walden wrote: -snip- (...) Very cool Jon! I like everything except the cockpit/torso. It has an unflattering shape. Everything else though is superb.   Re: Iron Mecha Entry: Iron Rhino

(...) Thanks for the comments, Mladen. I wanted to come up with something that emulated the concept art, but still looked very characteristic of my style, and I'm glad it came across that way. Of course, I also wanted to come up with a mind-blowing (...) (19 years ago, 2-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  New Mecha: The Fang

Greetings all, just finished my last Mecha before I go on a long building hiatus. It is called Fang. This is another of my experimental mecha to use in my Bricktek game.   Re: Biomechanical Bricks - IRON MECHA Entry - The Qwelder-Mech

I like the articulated head most, definitely wins the cockpit coolness category. It reminds me of something, but I can't think what. Maybe a turtle, or a vulture. The yellow and grey color combo looks great. I dig the "01" on the missile pod. I (...) (19 years ago, 1-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Iron Mecha, contest closed.
