(...) I asked Todd about this a few years ago. He assured me that the page loads just as fast as other newsgroups. Really it does load slow. Always has. I think it has to do with the newsgroups placement as a sub group of .build. I once tried an (...) (19 years ago, 29-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Probably just that the main page is so image heavy. I'm on cable and it loads slowly for me as well. Also, I keep my monitor at 1920 x 1440, and still have to scroll down to see everything. it's a very heavily loaded page. I would suggest fewer (...) (19 years ago, 29-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)
