Probably just that the main page is so image heavy. I'm on cable and it loads
slowly for me as well. Also, I keep my monitor at 1920 x 1440, and still have to
scroll down to see everything. it's a very heavily loaded page.
I would suggest fewer images for the new MOC and BS finds sidebar sections and
heavier compression on the button images. Also, eliminating the images for the
Expo section would probably be best, since it very rarely shows new models, and
we've all learned that the LMO meeting pics are awesome by default :).
If for whatever reasons our Fearless Leaders find this unacceptable, separating
these sections out into separate pages and linking them from the index would be
a suitable alternative.

| I've noticed for several months that .mecha seems to take a lot longer than the rest of Lugnet to load. I'm on a T-3 line here but have noticed the same thing at home on DSL. Seeing as how I'm not super internet speed savvy is there anyone who knows (...) (18 years ago, 29-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)
