I think it has to do with the newsgroups placement as a sub group of .build. I once tried an (...) (19 years ago, 29-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) It isnt, but then between exoforce and Bionacle they have headed generally in the mecha direction for some time. Some of the classic space sets were mecha-like. So in that respect, Lego have had a number of official sets which are mecha. For (...) (19 years ago, 29-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Another idea to speed up the database search. If the database is on SQL or similar it could speed up the search if an indice was created which lists according to group and subgroup. Just a thought. Marco (19 years ago, 30-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)
