This is a wonderful thing to see! The ZXRX1 Frame is an upgraded version of the frame that I had been working on for over a year now. The first attempt failed badly and I wanted to correct. So after some thought I made the MC7 frame that Ryetsumaki and Tatsumaki are built over. In my first design I made it too big..so when I added the skin, the frame would not hold the weight. So I made a stand for it. Knowing that my goal was to strengthen the joints and build on a smaller scale. In a way I had succeeded but there were a few issues that needed to be addressed. I had sent one of my original frames to Eric and over time we both studied and solved what issues we could....the example being the ZXR1 frame. This is not the last of this design. I plan to work on this for some time. I hope you all enjoy the frame. Thanks Eric. Marcus Clancy

No, thank you Marcus. I always wanted to build a (solely) ball jointed Mecha, but never did because I knew the scale of the frame had to be carefully done in order to work within the physical limits of the ball joints. Your dual ball jointed solution was key in my taking this project on.

You pinned down the proper size and scale for the ball joints to work best with the frame itself. Our later efforts solidified my desire to build one of my own.

Thank you for sending the original frame to me, as well as the respect you have shown me for all my years of building. It just goes to show, no matter who you are and what you build, we can all benifet from a fresh perspective.

Lastly on a personnal note. I have been giving (and getting) people flack for joking around to much and not really being serious about building discussions. I, in particular, appreciate your desire to honestly learn and grow through our work sessions. You certainly have a sense of humor, and we do joke around. However when I look back at our history, I full well know that you keep your mind on building and the imediate goals at hand.

Something I thouroghly enjoy. That is, getting together to discuss building while keeping the jokes to a minimum or only when we have concluded time discussing building or working towards completing an idea.

Then we goof around, but for the most part I honestly appreciate the fact that you want to learn, expand and keep focus on what we are doing first and foremost.

I lost my temper a few times on other chat boards because people rather goof off and or talk about everything else rather than what the topic is or flat out asking people to please address the topic: BUILDING.

I really enjoy that you have your mind on the Brick.

Sincerely,

Eric Sophie
