I felt inspired to experiment with this new technology.
I made a new hand hybrid with reverse minifig legs and lever fingers
and changed the forearm a bit to accomodate it by using a new friction axle pin
for the forearm twist.
I discovered the shoulder joints tendancy to separate, without an axle glued or
otherwise permanently attached to the ball, and made a little drama about the
circumstances of this discovery.
The skinnable ball joint frame is really great technology. I just barely have
enough ball joints to make one, though plenty of parts for a skin. The kit is
definitely a good idea.
