Recently I was about to scrap it and sort it when I decided to see if I
could improve the color scheme. I did everything I could in black, but
there were some parts in the cockpit and missile launchers that I didnt
have in black, so I left them in gray, but grouped the colors together. I
was also disappointed with the original foot design, so I re-did the feet
and a few other details, and this is the final product.

Kyle,
This is a great Mech! I really like the compactness of it. It just has a
look of sturdiness and that translates to power. Good job.
I really liked the rounded missile bins. I think that is quite inovative to
use half a cylinder. It may not be realistically functional but it looks
awesome from the front and from behind.
I dig the cockpit. When I first looked at the Mech as a whole, I thought the
cockpit was static but the to see it open up, was a real surprise. I think I
liked that the most. Back to comment one, it really shows the compactness of
the MOC.
The soldiers are a great touch too.
Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback, Brian. The framework underlying the legs probably
looks a lot like the bionicle legs on your Kalate OmniDroid--I just attached
some bricks with Technic connections, and built the armor cladding from that
base, which gives it the compact, sturdy appearance.

| (...) Ummm. Now I better see why everyone wanted me to beef up my Kalate. For me a newbie, the Kalate leg design was very new but for everyone else they could see where I needed to go. Nice, thanks for the input. Brian (19 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
