| i know there have been a lot of complaints about the sidebar being updated...and here's one more: there have been many mecha that did not make the sidebar this last time (mine being one of them). i understand that you can fit only a few at a time, (...) | (...) Yeah, the sidebar is really never updated all the time, just usually alot is added occasionally. But if you look under new mecha, you can see your stuff there. I looked back in the archives and noticed several mecha of mine that i NEVER saw on (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

| I try to update the sidebar on Sunday nights after I see weekend mecha postings. Obviously, that hasn't happened in the past month, so I started updating using the last update as a starting point and I move forward from there. Generally, I leave the (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

| A bit of follow-up on this: Initially when I started adding postings to the sidebar, I was faced with a dilemma-do I update everytime a post is made or do I hold off and update a few at a time. | Eric (and Dave), I'm not sure exactly where things went awry. I remember having the discussion with you and sending mail to Dave to make sure he was cool with it all, and I even think I remember getting mail back from Dave that he was indeed cool (...)
