I would't say they are getting easier to build, just that we are getting better
at building them.

But that's what makes them easier, yah?  Neither one of us had very good looking
mechs/mecha when we started, practice makes perfect.  Plus, I'm convinced that
these things have a life of thier own.  Once you find the soul, it'll tell you
what the body needs to be.  Either that or I am insane.  Hmmm, probably the
latter.

Interesting to know that you wanted certain design stylings incorporated into
the Mech, then nailed them.

That's the hard part for me.  I'll have a look that I want and then persue it
with that wolfy tenacity.

Good colors and great size. The forces that are
channeled along the knee geometry must be interesting to work with.

Yeah, you can see in some of the pics, of the back of the knee, where the
technic axle is almost out of the adjustment gear.  (the one you'd turn with
your fingers)  The leg is bending and sort of working the axle out.  the ankle
is over strenghtened to compensate, but I didn't do that to the knee.  (looked
better and I added a strenghtning cross beam to help hold it all together.
Works ok.  All those adjustments mean more fiddling to get the pose right, but
also that as soon as I can also gear the ankle, I'll have these mechs standing
on one foot.  Dang, that's a scary thought.

Again, the right parts for the job.

I'm gonna go look some more!

Nice work! Always a joy to see your Mechs.

Thanks Bro.

Mark
