  Two Mechs

I got the Bullfrog (URL) the Firefly Drone (URL) for Space and Mecha. Bullfrog is a bit differnet looking I think. But the Firefly, now that's a pretty neat bot. I don't know if the pics will do it justice, but we see. Enjoy Mark Snow Daddy Neumann (21 years ago, 2-Sep-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mecha Pose # 302

Man, that's more agile then I am :) I kept thinking when I printed the Little bot instructions that it should be fairly upgradable in the building technique, looks like I was right! Can we expect this years model to come in a multitude of colors (...) (21 years ago, 2-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Another New Kid on the Block...

Pretty cool. I dig the freaky accessories, the jackhammers and buzzsaws all over the mecha. Reminds me of the cyborg gladiators from Gunnm*, retro-industrial/tribal death machines leading street gangs. I like the color scheme, it seems very (...)   Re: Roadkill

(...) I was never a fan of Bionicle until my eyes were open to some of the possiblities at Brickswest 03 (Jeff Ranjo, E, and Bryce). I personally boycott the bionicle, for reasons that would probably just start an argument. We all have our own (...) (21 years ago, 2-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Another New Kid on the Block...

Welcome! Good Form, cool Feet, the Knees use good parts, the Torso area is very cool, the Head is neat with that long slope on top, the Arms look like they have alot of mobility, its wild how you used those Jackhammers on the top of the Shoulders. (...) Not at all! As Eric put it, some of us have been too busy this past week or so to post anything whatsoever, so here goes (with the 2.5 minutes I can spare right now...) Head: great look to it! I'd love a closeup and side view so as to see the (...) (21 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Chunkage Contained. I always like seeing what you come up with. I just havn't had a chance to reply yet. My thoughts, you use the Dino bodies in interesting ways. But wow they make huge forearms! e (URL) (21 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Another New Kid on the Block...

I really like this mech, seems to be built tough and looks it too. When i first saw the legs on Brickshelf i was looking forward to seeing the rest, however the torso seems to be a bit too skinny for the legs, i was expecting something wider and (...)   Re: Roadkill

(...) I think it's fair to say that outside of the official group, the .build.mecha group is probably the most tolerant of MOCs built with Bionicle pieces, followed closely by .space and .starwars. Other groups with less technologically-oriented (...) (21 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Roadkill

(...) Excelent stuff. Bionicle or not, mecha of this quality are always a welcome sight around here. I'm a bit partial to the stuff myself. It's all LEGO. Allister (21 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Another New Kid on the Block...

(...) I'm 7 and a 1/2! Damn 6yr olds! Anyway I think your mecha has some really good bodily proportions the broad shoulders, short waist, and thick legs look really good. It seems to have a lot of extra accesories that have no purpose that's the (...) (21 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

I'm really not sure if I should post this, knowing that Bionicle is not always well respected over here (Or so I'm told). If this is true, I feel that it is probably because of all the 6 year old junk on Brickshelf. Bionicle is not Legos for babies. (...) (21 years ago, 31-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Another New Kid on the Block...

(...) Chains look kind of Spawn-y. What would it look like with even more chains? I'm not a mecha person, but the use of colors is attractive. (I've been looking at 1,330 Harleys this weekend, try that sometime.) -Erik (21 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
