I think its fair to say that outside of the official group, the .build.mecha
group is probably the most tolerant of MOCs built with Bionicle pieces, followed
closely by .space and .starwars. Other groups with less
technologically-oriented themes might not have seen the potential in the weird
and varied techno-organic pieces from the Bionicle line, but you should find
that the people here are less interested in your pallete of pieces and more in
how you use them.

| I'm really not sure if I should post this, knowing that Bionicle is not always well respected over here (Or so I'm told). If this is true, I feel that it is probably because of all the 6 year old junk on Brickshelf. Bionicle is not Legos for babies. (...) (21 years ago, 31-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
