  Roadkill

I'm really not sure if I should post this, knowing that Bionicle is not always well respected over here (Or so I'm told). If this is true, I feel that it is probably because of all the 6 year old junk on Brickshelf. Bionicle is not Legos for babies. (...) (21 years ago, 31-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Another New Kid on the Block...

(...) Chains look kind of Spawn-y. What would it look like with even more chains? I'm not a mecha person, but the use of colors is attractive. (I've been looking at 1,330 Harleys this weekend, try that sometime.) -Erik (21 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Optimus Primal

(...) Darn I post one of my favorite lego creations to ever build and not one critique on it. Does my Optimus Primal blow chunks? -Semaj (2 URLs) (21 years ago, 31-Aug-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Another New Kid on the Block...

(URL) I finally signed up for Lugnet, after realizing that there was enough spam over in BZP to end world hunger, and you had to scroll through three pages of 6 year old junk just to find one good MOC. So here I am. You've probably seen most of this (...) (21 years ago, 30-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Moonbase Corridor Floor Height Should Be Raised 2 Bricks

Wait. Put down that shovel. This is the deal: We will be adding some new features to the Moonbase Project standard soon. These include vertical corridors, higher horizontal corridors and a a permanent Monorail integration standard. All of these new (...)   Re: High Hopes

(...) That's not the one I thought I was thinking of, but it's definitely the accessible arthopod abdomen that was haunting my memory. Very, very, cool model. I'm pretty sure the the one I'm after is an ant rather than a spider, though I still can't (...) (21 years ago, 28-Aug-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) -snip- (...) Reading Chris' and Keith's replies really made me smile. They both bring up many good points and critiques, some that I agree with a lot. However, I think to really appreciate Eric's 'bots, you have to look at them as inhabitants (...) (21 years ago, 28-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

E, you magnificent bastard! While this is not my favorite of your creations, as always, it is intruiging. I will now insert my patented comment about how your mecha-heads are consistently unique and cool. (...) I have to say that it looks like a (...) (...) Well...this'll be a first for me, but I don't dig it. Don't get me wrong, it's got all the Sophie trademark coolness with the snot construction, the wicked head (which I really like), and always inventive joint tech. But the hip joints, while (...) Using BrickPix (shameless plug!!!!) I search Lugnet News for "Abdomen". On the first page I found this result (URL) ,which led me to the original post (URL) .   High Hopes

Quite a while back someone posted an extremely cool ant-like MOC with an abdomen based on the faceted corners (such as those used in the Adventurer's balloon). I've searched to no avail, and I was hoping someone might have some idea of what I'm (...) (21 years ago, 27-Aug-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)
