  Re: Found LRP:OFF sub website?

(...) Hello guys. May I help you ? :) "OFF" means "OFF-line meeting". It may be a local network term in Japan. We meet and make conversations at "ON-line" as usual(ex. LUGNET Newsgroups), so we call a holiday meeting as "OFF(-line event)". Got it? (...) (21 years ago, 6-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Station 39

(...) your previous works also end up at MOCpages (perhaps they already did, I have to check that). While on the subject, I would have rated this another five at MOCpages but it believes I've already done so. Perhaps there are some AI built into (...)   Errol

Errol is the first in a proposed range of minifig-scale mechs. He's still under development, but the links below show the initial stages. As you can probably tell from the pictures, I'm a bit stuck for colours at the moment. (URL) first four pics (...) (21 years ago, 6-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha) !

  New Mecha Poll

Check the sidebar and give your preference: What are the important aspects of mecha building that enhance YOUR style? -Dave (21 years ago, 6-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Anyone up for some sweeping changes?

(...) :) You were reading my mind. I'll add one in later tonight. I already had a button made for that... (...) Unfortunately, that is a Lugnet admin decision that I have no control over. It's a site-wide issue. (...) -D (21 years ago, 6-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.admin.suggestions)

Re: Anyone up for some sweeping changes?

(...) We've been doing that since February. It's patterened after the .technic part, but offers a bit more info about the part in question. The problem with PotM was that it was so far down the sidebar that few people ever saw it. The button 'Mech (...) (21 years ago, 6-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Rock Golems

Some rock golems I made for a recent BrikWars game: (URL) enough they seemed to chew through my various little hinge-bits and slope tops pretty quickly! I had to comprimise and do a few more color schemes, but I kinda like 'em anyway :) To tell the (...) (21 years ago, 6-May-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.mecha) !!

  Re: Oh my God

Yep, what Hendo said. This is quite, and I mean REALLY, impressive for the construction. I like the design--intersecting planes galore! I do have a criticism *looks around*...the fingers don't move. I like the hand design but I think for such an (...) (21 years ago, 5-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Will it never STOP?

(...) Thank you! I'm not entirely happy with the skirt armor, but I think it works well enough. Glad you like it. (...) Yeah, I thought it was a fun little technique. Hope your design comes together (any chance of a teaser pic?). (...) Thanks! These (...) (21 years ago, 5-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) (Blush) (...) (Blush again) I'd reccommend the FSS manga, it's a great read. A bit like Dune with mecha. (...) Not very. I'm embarrassed to say it, you being the King Of Joints, but my joint tech is pretty crappy. This one is a bit more (...) (21 years ago, 5-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Station 39

(...) Travis, thanks for the kind words. The technic pin is just friction attached over the small nub on the binos. Not all pins work, and it is a bit fragile, but the connection is legit, without glue or any non-lego alteration. Thanks again, Keith (21 years ago, 5-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: Anyone up for some sweeping changes?

this is indeed a fine chang of pace, but i have a couple of suggestions.... 1. if its possible, could you add a poll (doesn't matter what it's about, i just thought it'd be fun to have one)on the side bar? 2. make it so you can see more than 4 (...) (21 years ago, 5-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Anyone up for some sweeping changes?

(...) Dave, You have been doing a great job at keeping the sidebar up-to-date in terms of MOCs and websites. I would like to see a regular "Mecha Part of the Month" (since week seems a bit rushed) like at .space. I will email you later with ideas. (...) (21 years ago, 5-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)
