We've been doing that since February. It's patterened after the .technic
part, but offers a bit more
info about the part in question. The problem with PotM was that it was so
far down the sidebar
that few people ever saw it. The button 'Mech Parts' will take you where you
want to go. As far as
pushing the idea of 'seed parts' as a building tool as .space uses them is
that quite a few folks
will get upset if we start tossing out obscure parts that are tough to
incorporate into a mech
design. Personally, I like the idea, but I think we should approach it from
a design 'contest' idea
first. Please keep those ideas coming! I haven't gotten the email yet-did
you remove the Anti-
spam block from the link? :)

I love the font too. Believe it or not, that font wasn't my first choice-it
was my fourth, but it
looked nice with the inner shadow applied and the others didn't. Green was
chosen because both
yellow and grey were too light and blue didn't stand out from the page well
enough. That left red,
green, and purple and green looked better than the others (as much as I
dislike the color green, it
keeps coming back to haunt me-sigh!).

| (...) Dave, You have been doing a great job at keeping the sidebar up-to-date in terms of MOCs and websites. I would like to see a regular "Mecha Part of the Month" (since week seems a bit rushed) like at .space. I will email you later with ideas. (...) (22 years ago, 5-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)
