  Re: Mini-mecha from Lego?

(...) Your guess would be correct. Each set comes with an idea book that gives hints on how to build all sorts of things. Some of the books have 60-70 different ideas in them. Adrian -- (URL) (22 years ago, 20-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mini-mecha from Lego?

(...) My guess is that they're books included with the sets similar to the ones in the Creator boxes. Allister (22 years ago, 20-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mini-mecha from Lego?

(...) This frightens me... I see horrors on the horizon... Lego is starting their own mech/thing line... I know people think this is good... But I see problems... For those like me, this could stop us from being creative... But, the pieces we need (...) (22 years ago, 20-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mini-mecha from Lego?

(...) Looking around, I found additonal pictures of the Make and Create line, scans from the Dutch catalogue, at Stuifzand aka Saskia's website. (5 URLs) catalogue seems to show an Idea book associated with this line. Anyone know if this is true? (...) (22 years ago, 20-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mini-mecha from Lego?

(...) Funny, I was checking out the blue ones in Enfield and that's how they explained it to us. We saw the little ones, medium sized ones and the big un' Now there may not be complete instructions for all of them (ideas for the different (...) (22 years ago, 20-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mini-mecha from Lego?

(...) This may actually be one of my favorite parts about this line... no back story. (22 years ago, 20-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Mech: Lenze

sorry, big guy, but i scrapped the project. it's not because i got discouraged after seeing your mecha, but rather, i got as far as the lower leg and it just turned out crappy. nonetheless, i thought i'd delve a little into the "chicken walker" (...)   Re: What's a snow daddy to do?

(...) Thanks! (...) Yeah, I hear you. I think the arms are a tad thin in places, used some bits to help beef it up. But it makes for a T-rex sort of effect. Big honking legs and body, little head and wirey arms. Mark (22 years ago, 20-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.starwars)

Re: What's a snow daddy to do?

That is sweet! it has an awesome mech-monster feel to it, like a rabid dog with it's two front legs cut off! The rocket pack on the back is very nice. I love that head! it's so freaky-dogish, and I like the skis around the neck. one quibble, the (...) (22 years ago, 20-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: New Mech: Lenze

This is awesome! There are so many things here that are out of the ordinary, and I like that alot. The arms and legs are beautiful! smooth, angular, and the color balance in each is near perfect. The shoulders are very nice as well, but I think the (...) (22 years ago, 20-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)
