as a matter of fact, there is a large gundam influence on this model. a lot of design influence came from a hobbyjapan magazine that featured 6 different conversions of the rx-79 (g) gudam "master grade" model from bandai. i decided to go with the (...) Thanks Tony, Like Eric said, I forgot to mention the size, It's 8.5" at the top of the shoulders, I think that should put it in the 8" and taller, military category. Good Story! Ohhhh oooooo, look at that Mech. Cool pop up Canopy. Very intersting Legs. I like the little radar dishes on the sides and how they are mounted on the round 2x2 plates. Thanks Mark, I made the Mech in less than 5 days. The Plane windows were a must since they are white and have Lt. Blue in them. No instructions! The Build-a-Bot instructions consist of over 275 Photos. Din Din is twice the size of a LB, toooooo (...) (22 years ago, 7-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Woah, quite a feline you got there Eric. ;-) I really like this model, yep sure do... Here's a couple reasons why: cool use of light-blue canopies/windows, good articulation, nice form. Eric, I love this. As always you make some of the coolest stuff. I like the mass transit look of the lower bay. (tight fit but looks mega cool.) Those are some great and inspirational MOC's, I have so many personal favorites floating around in my head it makes it difficult to pick and choose. I just wanted to pay tribute to some of my favorite Moc's in 2 categories especially. These might not be the best but they inspire me the most. i just saw it last night. what a creation! i was so enthralled that i showed my wife. needless to say her reaction was less enthusiastic than mine. i find that the coolest transformer is one where the mecha doesn't even look like it would transform (...) Jeez! This is by far the coolest mecha I HAVE EVER SEEN! I found it on the Lego Robo Plan, the Japanese mecha site and knew it had to be Gla Gla's I check his gallery next and ho' nuff there it was! Thanks, Tony. I wish I could spend more time building, etc. Mostly everyting is virtual now, I don't do much with real blocks, except to prototype things. A few years back i was showing my platform arm )now defunct) to a friend of mine in engineering,and while talking about degrees of freedom and he said something about half a degree of freedom.
