  Re: Hi here!

Hey Tim! Yes the upper body bends. It is mounted on a worm gear that acts as the spine of the Mecha. The Little Bot Series and the Gomgile all have this feature. (URL) Gla, Bryce McGlone, Chris Snead and Dave "Lego Mecha" Johann have all recently (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Hi here!

Thanx, man! I checked out your "Little bot" stuff a while ago, and man was I impressed! Especially on how flexible/posable they all are. I couldn't get the mech I am working on right now (pix hopefully today) to do that in years! I'll have to try (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Build-a-Bot by Eric Sophie

Hi Joseph! Thanks for the compliments, so far I have had two people build them! Give it a try! It was tough making the instructions, mosty because it was time consumming. I'm glad you guys like them!!! Legomaster www.mylegomaster.com (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Initial Designs

Hello all, I've been lurking in Lugnet for a while and I'm finally ready to post a few Mecha. The photography is terrible, I'm going to take some new shots with a still camera and do a better site design in the near future. These are fairly simple (...)   Hi here!

Hi there all you brick fans! I'm a new lugnet person and I just wanted to introdece myself so you wouldn't go "what the heck!!?!?! Who in the name of Bricks is this loon!?!!?!" whenever I post. I am going to be mainly writing in SW and mecha, but I (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Dark Tidings

(...) I know, the whole time I was making it I was thinking I wish I had not sold you those pieces. But you've gotten good reviews of your use of them. And you made me an offer I couldn't refuse. -Steve (URL) (22 years ago, 17-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Dark Tidings

(...) Wow, that rocks too. But just think how much cooler it could've been if you hadn't sold me some of your purple pieces. The cloaking device is a nice touch. -Andrew (22 years ago, 16-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: DracoMech 5000

(...) The head was made first when I was just playing around with pieces that were new to me. I noticed they looked like a dragon head and the rest was built from that idea. Each arm has three technic ball joints in it, the hip has one, the knees (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.castle)

  Dark Tidings

Here is my newest Mecha offering: Dark Tidings. This mech has a color scheme of black/lt grey/purple. It has over 60 purple pieces used in it, and I still have a few purple pieces left. I never knew I had so much. As a side note: All poor quality (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jun-02, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: DracoMech 5000

(...) Thanks, Saddly I've scrapped the humanoid form. I just can't get a head to work right on it and now the leg joints are failing into rag doll effect. But the tail disconnected at its bottom base and hinged up to the back where it attached. This (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Build-a-Bot by Eric Sophie

Eric this is a tremendous resource you've made I'm currently struggling with a 2ft 'mech' of sorts and instructions like these are really few and far between. Even if people don't make the LB model there is a mountain of information you've included, (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Build-a-Bot by Eric Sophie

Eric, thank you. This info is great. A awesome resource from the Master! Thanks again, and all the Snow Leopard Clan Engineer Minifigs thank you too. Mark Neumann (22 years ago, 16-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: DracoMech 5000

COOL! Can't wait to see what the humanoid form looks like. What's the time schedule on that? And I must say, very impressive for just kitbashing three sets. What kind of mobility do you get out of it? Any pilot? Mark Neumann (22 years ago, 16-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
