  Re: Lego Technic Exo-suits

Hey, these are cool! I dig them very much-- you know, I almost don't notice the lack of unified colour scheme on the Hulk; it gives it a worn-in look, the kind of thing that made Joe Johnston's Star Wars designs so lively and realistic. the models (...)   I forgot my Camera!

Dang I went to the Open mic last night and I forgot my Camera. I brought LBB and the LSB to Willie McBrides and set them up on the Bar, they stood shoulder to shoulder proping eachother up under the light of Zahadum. (The orange light I have that (...)   Re: Mecha-newbie!

(...) Hi Tobbe and welcome, Check out this site and the links too. This will give you a sample of the Japanese stuff. (URL) here's a link to the grittier mechs (URL)I'm currently into Technic but I'd like to test Mechas as side project (...) Just (...) (23 years ago, 7-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Lego Technic Exo-suits

(...) Cool! I really like the Hulk one. There are three things I've always wanted to build for technic figures: a speeder bike, an exosuit/mecha, and a small spacecraft. IMO, people don't build enough stuff for them. I like the fact that you used (...) (23 years ago, 7-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Lego Technic Exo-suits

Whats up? I havent talked to you for a long time... If I remember correctly you showed inrest in buying my MREX model, quite a time ago. I like both these guys, very cool. Especially all the detail on the hulk/loader one.. Will you do any new stuff? (...) (23 years ago, 6-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Lego Technic Exo-suits

These are way cool! Usually technic doesn't lend itself well to completed mecha (IMO) but this worked out really well. The Hulk has enough to it that looks detailed. Engreebled one might say... All the features make it look like it's fun to play (...) (23 years ago, 6-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Lego Technic Exo-suits

I made these guys about 2 years ago. I showed them to Sun Yun (Foundrydx.com) recently and he told me to post it here to see what you guys think. I haven't used brickbay or any ind of online brick purchasing place. I had to use the legos that I had (...) (23 years ago, 6-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Pope's 7 new site, new server

I finally managed to find time to make up a new site for Pope's 7 and got a new server also. Here you'll find all the same characters, ships, vehicles and mechs (well one), but it has a new look and hopefully is a little better to navigate. If there (...)   Re: Mecha-newbie!

(...) My teacher always said, "do or do not, there is no try" Or something like that. What'd I do? I made some really stupid looking mechs. (I'd look for the pics but darn! Just can't find em... :P) What language exactly? (...) hmmm, I think you've (...) (23 years ago, 6-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: PNLTC display in Edmonds, WA

(...) Mark and I were thinking just the same thing... hmmm how to get train bits without a train set... we're working on it. Wanna help? Mark Neumann (23 years ago, 6-Mar-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: PNLTC display in Edmonds, WA

(...) Yeah, next time we need to be sure we have a few catalogs on hand. People kept saying "LEGO makes trains??" and I would tell them a bit about them, but it would have been helpful to have a catalog on hand to show them examples of the LEGO (...)   First Mecha MOC: Tiny

FUT: lugnet.build.mecha Hi! Just testing the genre and doing something that's not Technic for once, I think everybody needs to get out of the frames a little now and then to pick up new building techniques and get more inspiration.   Re: Strengthening Gears

FUT: lugnet.technic (...) There's a lot of talk and little workshop here. I know nothing about gear streangth, I have never broken a gear - unitl today. Feeling the only way to settle this is to actually test it: 1) I took a z16 gear and boiled it (...)
