  Re: Agiel

Wow!! I am blown away!! (...) Very ingenius!! I would never have thought of that. (...) That sounds really cool!! (...) I love the idea of four arms. (...) A magic casting machine...almost reminds of the "caster" gun of Gene Starwind's on Outlaw (...) (23 years ago, 3-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Agiel

Dang, that's cool. I love your use of the magnets for the armor. Looks good and flows nicely into the pattern of the mecha as a whole. (what? scaled/scalloped?) The legs look a bit spindly to me, but then again the mecha is rather lithe looking so (...) (23 years ago, 3-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Agiel

Whoa! That's crazy! Although I'm not a fan of gundam wing (or any of those other mecha shows), I am continually fascinated by these mecha designs. Keep it up! <<_Matt Hein_>> Lugnet member No. 1112 (23 years ago, 3-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Agiel

(...) The mecha design bar is raised once again. When will everyone reach there limits? How perfect can you build a mech? The gap is closing. You, like many of the other skilled bulders [not me] countinue to set the standard. Thanks for the (...) (23 years ago, 3-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Very impressive Bryce. Hope to see more pictures. (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: 2 new designs

(...) It would probably be easiest to keep the balde, the railgun is heavy that it can't even lift it.Then again Im useing very week joint especiallyin the lebows right now. The whole premise of this if big and beefy, simmilar to the heavy gear (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Agiel

Wow Bryce! This is incredible, I really love the smooth armour all over, do you have some pics with the armour removed? The four arms are soooo cool,I love all the tech-y stuff on the underside of them, yummy, mmm, huge-arse tentacles cool, I could (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Agiel

(...) (URL) is glorious!!!!! You seem to have placed yourself in quite the predicament now. I mean, what can you build now that will be better than this guy? Wow! Bobby (23 years ago, 2-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: 2 new designs

(...) Thanks- (...) Hey John, I like how chunky these mechs look. And I like the design of the heads too! Personally I like the vibro-blade. The blunt shape of it perfectly echos the shape of your mechs. You should keep it or store it on his leg or (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Agiel

(...) first mecha of that size to kneel. I love the red halo of magic you gave it in your pics. I think, like so many of your other mecha, this one must be experienced IRL. I still can't get over the clean feel of the armor magnetically snapping (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Agiel

(...) Awesome feature!!! I encountered the magnetic feature on the U.F.O. Interstellar Starfighter but I never thought of that as a way to attach armor, Ingenious! (...) You've got to see this feature up close, cause, I guess it's the only way (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Agiel

I've posted pictures of my new mecha on Brickshelf. (URL) a quick run down for those who are curious. Some armor attaches via magnets. The whole mecha can kneel (I think it's a first for a model this size) Stands about 32" Fiber optics in the chest (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  2 new designs

I jave finally got some content back on to my website "neoplastics." MREX and Tharlieft have returned (I found my old-master-huge-images..a very good thing) I have also got two revsions of what will be, eventually the Sevlan. So i have the first two (...) Hey, no prob. I hear ya. Definetly keep tabs on the haps. Your a part of the group. I'm suppossed to be on reprieve, so you may not see anything from me for awhile either. Legomaster www.mylegomaster.com (...) (23 years ago, 1-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

To post or not to post...

Due to lack of funding and a decent camera, i am unable to post any new pics into this or any other newsgroup. So, once payday or B-day comes around, i won't be able to post anything. Don't fret, i will still add my un-doubtedly loved critique of (...) (23 years ago, 1-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Use of cloth in MOCs

(...) How about using the 10x10 nets? (URL) They'd make a very sheer membrane, especially since they're made out of black string, but they are bigger than the capes. You could attach 1xN plates to the nets to make them more visible. Or overlap the (...) (23 years ago, 28-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Use of cloth in MOCs

If I use cloth, there will be about 4 or 5 pieces per wing. If nothing else, I can try converting the finished dragon into a wingless variety. Thanks for the compliment and the suggestion. Travis Dickinson (...) (23 years ago, 28-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Use of cloth in MOCs

I think my dragon is going to be too big to effectively use the cape idea. The capes would probably make good contour feathers or large scales, but I'm not crazy enough to try that. As for Vader's cape, it would be cheaper (but less pure) to cut up (...) (23 years ago, 28-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Use of cloth in MOCs

I think the suggestion about the plastic film wings is the most feasible one for the scale I'm working. I think I know how to implement this. I just have to acquire a number of those wings. I'll probably carry through with the bat like wings as (...) (23 years ago, 28-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
