Re: Use of cloth in MOCs

I wanted the same thing when I started working on the DR8CO and Razor. One thought I had, maybe you can make it work, is capes. The little minifig capes, all overlapped. Could make a cool feathering effect. I thought of using the Ewok hang glider (...) (23 years ago, 27-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Use of cloth in MOCs

(...) Hmmm. I'm somewhat of a purist when it comes to building. No altering of pieces and no un-Lego parts allowed. What's cool about buiding with Lego is the challenge of creating something with such a limited pallete. Have you ever thought of (...) (23 years ago, 27-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Use of cloth in MOCs

I would like to know what you think of using cloth in MOCs. This applies primarily to the dragon I'm working on. I'd like to make the dragon entirely out of LEGO elements, but the feathered wing designs I've tried have had serious flaws. I've (...) (23 years ago, 27-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Gundam Reunion

(...) 2 1/2 feet Gundams + a huge mobile armor + your other things (falcon, etc.) + all the prototypes you have for your new line of mobile suits. Altogether very nice!   Agiel

(...) I'm trying to post it. She's proving to be difficult to photograph. I'm tryint to show that she can kneel and hold a "walking stance" as well. I have the first pose done though. I was working on the second last night. I'm hoping to publish (...) (23 years ago, 26-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Yes I now have your tech! Including sound effects I made out pretty good, back comes the Mech full of Ranjo fodder! Parts upon parts gleened form your supply of mecha bits.   Re: A Little Stealthy Bot

(...) Hey Eric, That's what I saw the other night!! I was in my studio sorting (ugh) and I swear I heard this "ping-vorp" sound. When I turned around, I see this black bot with my tub of black bricks in his grubby little mits. Then he "pong -vorped" (...) (23 years ago, 26-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Mech, Gunslinger

(...) Mmmmmm, juicy details. I can fit more, really I can! (...) I almost called this guy Linebacker because of the shoulders.   Re: New Mech, Gunslinger

  Re: A Little Stealthy Bot

(...) I've actually been thinking a lot about LBB since BricksWest; I guess the biggest surprise for me was how fun it was to pose LBB and make it's waist bend back and forth. I've always had and inherent distrust for worm gears, due to the fact (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
